At Cambridge School of Constanța, we believe that true education goes beyond academic success—it’s about nurturing the inner potential of every child.

Our holistic approach emphasises not only academic achievement but also the creative, physical, and emotional development of each student. Through our varied extracurricular program, we provide a well-rounded experience that helps students discover their unique talents, foster curiosity, and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning.

Every afternoon, once the school day ends, our students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in activities tailored to inspire creativity, enhance physical fitness, and develop new skills. For our youngest learners in Mini Nursery and Nursery, the afternoon program includes a restful nap period to ensure they stay refreshed and energized.

  • Monday: Art and Basketball – A day for creative exploration, where students delve into colours, shapes, and textures in art, followed by basketball to enhance teamwork and coordination skills.
  • Tuesday: Spanish and Gymnastics – An introduction to the Spanish language builds cognitive flexibility, while gymnastics strengthens balance, flexibility, and physical endurance.
  • Wednesday: Art and Football – Another day to express themselves artistically, followed by football, where students engage in active play, develop their agility, and learn the importance of teamwork.
  • Thursday: Spanish and Fitness – Spanish continues to expand their language abilities, followed by fitness activities to promote health, strength, and wellness in a lively, engaging setting.

For students in Grades 1 through 5, the afternoon program also includes a dedicated Homework Club. Here, children can complete their assignments in a supportive and focused environment, with guidance from teachers to reinforce understanding, ask questions, and build effective study habits. The Homework Club runs alongside our other activities, ensuring that every student can end their day with a sense of accomplishment.

  • Journalism Club: Dedicated to the creation and publication of content for the CSC newsletter and magazine, this committee aims to provide a platform for students interested in journalism, creative writing, photography, editorial roles and communications.
  • Business Club: Focusing on the practical application of business skills, students mimic an organisation as they endeavour to organise events and run student-driven initiatives within their school and local community. Students are able to practice skills pertaining to event planning and execution, finance, marketing, public relations and customer service.
  • Art Club: The art club provides an artistic outlet for students who wish to explore their creative potential. Students complete set creative tasks and help with creative activities throughout the school year.
  • Community Service (Jingle Box and Cambridge Cares): Jingle box is a student-driven initiative which was founded in 2018, with the goal of raising funds for donations to a partner charity. Cambridge Cares aims to extend this initiative and assist students in accumulating community service hours and experience, while contributing their time to a good cause within their local community.

Our extracurricular programs run Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, providing a structured yet flexible schedule that encourages students to pursue their interests, discover new passions, and develop meaningful connections with their peers.

At Cambridge School of Constanța, we are committed to creating an environment that supports growth in all aspects—academic, creative, and physical. By offering these diverse after-school opportunities, we strive to foster a space where every child can feel engaged, inspired, and prepared to embrace the world with confidence and joy.
